Alphabets and Culture

Just thinking aloud here -- is the culture of a country/tribe directly proportional to the number of alphabets in its language?

Your post has got me thinking. A written document is always an abstraction of reality - it is never reality. It can be one way to view reality, but is never as close to reality as you can get. For example, a photograph is more real than a para of text. A video is even better than a para of text and a photograph.
So, if a language has more alphabets, does it mean that it is able to provide a deeper (more 'real') view of reality or just a more refined abstraction?
Of course, when it comes to culture, we are not talking reality 'reality' but we are discussing interpretation/ usage/ impact of reality. Oh, I am a little lost...more in the next effort :-)
